The Dental Technology Program has an opening for a full-time instructor and a number of part-time instructors. A candidate for this position should be an energetic leader of students, have well developed communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, be committed to student motivation and achievement, work independently within established policies, be dedicated to a service model, and work cooperatively as a team member.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from a recognized Dental Technology program.
• Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Dental Technologists of Alberta.
• Several years’ recent dental laboratory experience.
• Preference will be given to those candidates who have successfully completed all 4 competencies of Dental Technology.

Desirable:

• Previous teaching experience in a post-secondary education.
• Degree in adult education or equivalent.
• Basic computer experience.
• Standard First Aid and CPR Certification.

Remuneration:

• Will commensurate with education and experience
• The full-time and part-time appointments will begin this fall.
